Members of the Nature Coast Clown Troupe during one of their first classes take what is described as class head clown Bonnie Saylor as a step by step journey through the characteristics of what it takes to become a great clown.

The clown student will visit nursing homes, health care centers and hospitals after their graduations.
|
|
|
Students learned about how to apply makeup and character development duriing the classes.
|
Dekota Shipp, traveled all over the Northwestern United States and Canada in 2001 with 15 other teens and young adults, showing off his roping skills as one of the nations youngest National Champion Ropers. Shipp is a Hernando resident.

The EDC Dance company brought traditional Filipino dancers to the county. The dancers had been on a National tour and were brought to the county by a strong Filipino community effort.
